Relevant Project Features

South Hills High School consisted of:

New Addition

  • A 85,469 SF addition to take place of 16 portables.

  • The new addition includes:

  • 8 Science Labs

  • 8 Science classrooms

  • 19 Classrooms and a Dance Classroom

Other Additions:

  • New Secure Entry to Main Campus

  • New Connector building between three separate building for secure student circulation

  • New Addition onto current science lab building for conversion to a CTE Center housing:

  • Robotics

  • Gaming Classrooms

  • Welding Labs

  • Computer Repair

  • Engineering Classroom

Renovations

The project also renovations 60% of the existing campuses 219,317 SF.  Including:

  • Inclusion of multiple collaborative areas

  • Complete renovation of the Library into a new Collaborative Media Center with tech squad and flexible meeting rooms with glass walls.

  • A new ROTC center

  • New Artroom Suite

  • Renovation and expansion of the weight room

  • New Public Address System and Fire Alarm.

  • New Soccer Field
